This policy applies to consumers purchasing any of our products or services for your own personal use. It does not apply to business or organisation or any purchases made in the context of a business.

This policy summarises some of your key rights and provides information on cancellation and returns. It is not intended to replace the terms and conditions, which you should read carefully before you buy any digital content from us.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason and get a full refund, provided that:

You have not started downloading the content where the purchase is for downloadable content such as document sets or precedents.

You have not logged in to the eLearning for the first time.

The service has not commenced, for example a request for advice or consultation the right is lost once the initial work or consultation has commenced.

You have cancelled any face to face or IAPP training course more than 14 days before the commencement of the course.

What if I have started downloading the content, logged into the eLearning, work has commenced or I cancelled a face to face course or IAPP course less than 14 days before the start?

You cannot cancel your order if you have already started to download the digital content, logged into the eLearning for the first time or work has commenced and will not be entitled to a refund unless the digital content is faulty. See What if my digital content is faulty? below. If you book a face to face or IAPP course less than 28 days before the course start we will ask you to sign a waiver shortening your cancellation period to the extent it expires 14 days prior to the start of the course, the reason for this is we have to order your non-refundable study materials 14 days prior to the start of the course.

How long do I have to cancel my order?

You have 14 days from the date of the purchase.

How can I cancel my order?

If you want to cancel your order, you must let us know. You can do this by contacting us by email, post or telephone using the contact details provided in How can I contact you? below, or

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your cancellation request before the 14-day cancellation period has expired.

When will you issue the refund?

We will refund all payments received from you within 14 days of your cancellation request.

If you lost your right to cancel because you’ve already started to download the digital content, logged into the eLearning for the first time or work has commenced, you are not entitled to a refund unless the digital content is faulty. See What if my digital content is faulty? below.

How will you refund me?

We will issue the refund using the same payment method you used when you placed your order, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

In any case, you won’t incur any fees as a result of the refund.

What if my digital content is faulty?

The digital content that we supply to you must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

If your digital content is faulty, you are entitled to a repair or a replacement.

If the fault can’t be fixed, or if it hasn’t been fixed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you can get some or all of your money back.

If you can show the fault has damaged your device and we haven’t used reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a repair or compensation.

You must tell us about any fault or damage as soon as reasonably possible by contacting us using the contact details set out in How can I contact you? below.
